Nanophysics: From Fundamentals to New Discoveries

From nanodiamonds to quantum dots, from neverwet nanofabrics to nanorobots, from invisible electronics to targeted cancer therapy, the future of nanotechnology has many surprises.

Nanophysics is at the core of these developments and focuses on ultrasmall atomic structures with the aim of investigating new, unusual and unexpected materials.

Klaus has been Professor of Physics at University of Hawaii since 1988. Before that he held positions at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, at the University of Konstanz in Germany, and at the University of California, Berkeley.
