About us:

Honolulu Science Cafe is for people who enjoy talking about science with a glass or a fork in their hand.

It is a member of ScienceCafes and the international "Cafe Scientifique" movement, though we are more flexible about the format of our meetings than some other groups. We do not ban Powerpoint, for example.

We usually meet at JJ's Bistro in Kaimuki on the third Tuesday of each month.

There is no admission charge, but patrons are encouraged to buy a meal or a snack from the restaurant that kindly hosts us.

We have held over 60 meetings since we started in 2009.
